Minimum requirements are a master's degree, or higher from a regionally accredited institution in Accounting or an MBA along with the CPA designation. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of recent college teaching experience in the subject area, preferably at the community college level; verifiable work experience in the field and possess a knowledge of and ability to integrate current technological applications into our Accounting courses. An ability to teach a variety of day, evening, and weekend first and second year Accounting courses at the main campus and/or at Regional Centers and neighborhood sites. Commitment to participating in the intellectual life of the department, and a willingness to participate in the life of the College through leadership in the department and college-wide committees.
Professional accounting certification desired but not required. Ability to teach first and second year Statistics courses in a variety of delivery modes and settings preferred.
