The NDC is focused on up selling existing PAETEC customers in a proactive fashion on advanced data products such as MPLS VPN, Data Backup, NBFW, Network Performance Reporting, CPE, and Dedicated Server. The NDC will be tasked to create marketing campaigns in conjunction with Account Development teams and Marketing.
- Assist in pricing and proposal generation for all PAETEC WAN designs. (Price proposal review, equipment proposal, Visio documentation, detailed SOW)
- Train Account development on technical concepts, features, and capabilities of data products.
- Act as technical liaison between post sales implantation groups, engineering and sales teams.
- Represent PAETEC when interfacing with any customer or agent as a subject matter expert for data services, Network Security, Co-location, LAN/WAN technologies, LAN/WAN applications, and associated LAN/WAN.
Knowledge of Cisco and Adtran LAN/WAN equipment and understanding of TDM and IP voice equipment preferred.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, MIS or Engineering preferred
3+ years experience in Telecommunications sales or data-related sales field
Posses a technical knowledge of IP, Frame Relay, VoIP, VPN, Network Security, Co-location, and LAN/WAN technologies, routing protocols and equipment design for design network to support customer applications.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook)
Able to work within a team-selling environment
Strong communication and presentation skills required.
Daily interaction with other sales personnel, Engineering, Account Management, and support services at all levels.
