Description
  • Perform a broad range of accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting activities for clients, which may be corporations, governments, nonprofit organizations, and individuals  
  • Prepare, examine & analyze financial records, statements or reports to assure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting & procedural standards
  • Establish account tables & assign entries to proper accounts
  • Familiar with investments
  • Create and/or work with document record keeping & accounting systems, along with budgets & preparing or analyzing periodic reports comparing budget vs. actual costs
  • Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements
  • Maintain or inspect financial records of government agencies
  • Administrate 401K plans
  • Counsel clients regarding compensation, employee health care benefits, accounting & data processing systems, long-range tax and/or estate plans, etc.
  • Analyze & offer advice on business operations, costs, revenues, financial commitments & obligations, and also project revenue & expenses
  • Stay up on current & future business trends

 

Requirements
  • MUST HAVE 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in tax and/or auditing
  • Hands on accounting/financial experience at a CPA firm
  • CPA License
  • 4 year degree
  • Possess strong leadership qualities & ability to mentor
  • Practical experience doing tax audits, investments, 401K administration, payroll, financial statements, etc.
