Our client is seeking an experienced ASP/VB.NET Application Developer for contract to hire opportunity in Des Moines, IA.

The contractor will work with various business units in a highly collaborative environment to verify requirement definition and application development, meet the needs of the business.  Resource will act as a lead for overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production and will develop documentation, and will participate in the development of departmental technical procedures and user guides to support efforts.  Team member will be considered SME on .NET technologies, and work to ensure issues are discovered and resolved appropriately regardless of time of day or week.  Will also assure process quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. 
 



job Requirements

4 year degree, and 7+ years of relevant experience related to application development or equivalent combination of education and experience
 Proficient with VB.NET, ASP.NET and T-SQL
 Familiar with Microsoft Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services
 Demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
 Demonstrated ability to work with and effectively communicate ideas across business and technical groups
 Strong multi-task orientation with ability to prioritize workload
 Financial services experience, specifically card products would be a plus
