JOB SUMMARY:

o        Oversees the management of AR Recovery for the Medicare and Commercial insurance engagements.  Manage all functions to ensure the highest quality of customer satisfaction and excellence that builds the reputation of Apollo Health Street.

o        May be required to schedule monthly on-site customer visits to address customer issues, monthly reports, and conduct associate quality reviews. Some travel involved for clients on the West coast.

o        Responsible for all aspects of the administration of the Medicare and Commercial insurance recovery, staffing, or management project: billing, follow-up, collections, and customer service.

o        Ensure that all transaction data between the customer and the company is exchanged and processed in a timely fashion.

o        Understand external and internal customer needs and issues and how our business processes affect customer satisfaction.

o        Ensure business measurements that reflect customer’s viewpoints and deliver a high level of quality and responsiveness to customer needs.

o        Responsible for managing the relationship between Apollo Health Street and the customer. 

o        Lead teams consisting of Managers, Supervisors, and A/R / Collections Specialists that receive and apply customer payments and follow-up / collect unpaid balances for national accounts.

o        Oversee design and implementation of new engagements.

o        Conduct calls to customers to resolve ensure outstanding invoices.

o        Partner with Sales to develop new sale strategies.

 

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

o        BS/BA required, MBA preferred, with a minimum of five (5) years proven management experience in a healthcare setting dealing with multiple client environment.

o        Must possess in-depth experience dealing with all payers.

o        Must have knowledge of state and federal billing compliance regulations.

o        Must possess pleasant and professional interpersonal skills, for dealing with customers and business associates.

o        Excellent communication skills, (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required. 

o        Excellent analytical and presentation skills are required. 

o        Must have strong analytical and problem solving abilities, to identify trends and develop action plans for results.

o        Must possess an ability to prioritize and to set and meet goals in fast-paced environment.

o        Expert level skills utilizing Excel is preferred.

o        Experience with various healthcare information systems is preferred.
