Retail Store Manager
ULTA is now hiring a General Manager for the following location:

GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
- Manages all aspects of retail, including hiring, scheduling, training, marketing, loss prevention and team leadership
- Primary point of contact for store personnel.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
- Responsible for planning and directing all store/salon operating activities necessary to meet or exceed established budgeted sales, expenses, profit, and productivity goals.
- Responsible for superior Guest service, professional personnel image, and Club at ULTA development, store/salon operating standards, recruiting and implementation/execution of all corporate/field initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring all sales, marketing, and advertising communications are disseminated and understood by key store personnel with accountability for implementation and timely execution.
- Ensures all store internal and external product training classes are communicated and implemented within corporate guidelines.
- Ensures all sales driving initiatives and programs are implemented successfully.
- Responsible for administration of store operations reports.
- Ensures all store personnel are trained and comply with all company Loss Prevention standards.
- Responsible for the management of all store/salon personnel including (but not limited to) recruitment, training, product knowledge and skills development, loss prevention knowledge, performance management, safety, recognition, legal compliance.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree, 5 yrs. relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 4 yrs. retail management experience.
- Demonstrates significant competency in sales, products and service.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Solid computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build a strong and customer-centric team environment.
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
WORKING CONDITIONS
- On a regular basis, requires the ability to stand, bend and lift 50 lbs. merchandise for a full scheduled shift.
