Description
Covenant Security Services, a nationwide premier provider of commercial security services, is currently seeking an individual to fill our Director of Sales position. This leadership position will contribute to the continued growth of our organization and will be responsible for the coordination of nationwide sales and marketing efforts, as well as the continued support of our existing clients.
This position will lead a team of dedicated Regional Sales individuals in their efforts to acquire new contacts and build new relationships while providing exceptional support to our current clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, manage, and develop Regional Sales positions.
- Coordinate marketing activities for CSS including tradeshows, business development, communication materials, association involvement, market research and partnership opportunities.
- Ensure all marketing efforts are in conjunction with the Vice President of Business Development’s strategies to maintain a consistent message to our current, and potential, clients.
- Assist in developing, and continue to maintain, positive professional relationships with current and prospective commercial clients.
- Assist the President of CSS in his/her role as the liaison between various contracts.
- Provide technical assistance to the President, and other members of CSS, on an as needed basis.
- Research and provide input on various marketing related activities as assigned.
- Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
- Maintain all sales demonstration tools and applications.
- Works with President and VP to develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends & government regulations.
- Meet with prospective clients; represent company at industry related functions, etc.
- Maintain all prospect POCs, updated telephone number, addresses, emails, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5-10 years of management experience in the security industry
- Knowledge of commercial security contracts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, spreadsheet and data base applications
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal/external contacts while protecting highly confidential information
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in marketing, or related discipline, with 6 years of professional experience
