DirectBuy of New Orleans is an International Company with 167 locations across the United States and Canada. We were founded in 1971 and have been in business for over 38 years. Our Company is going through exponential growth especially in our New Orleans region. We are a distributor for over 700 name brand manufacturers for everything that goes in and around a home from the ground up; including products such as flooring, kitchen cabinets, appliances, electronics, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, indoor furniture, outdoor furniture, occasional furniture and numerous consumer goods. We are helping rebuild New Orleans and the surrounding areas. The atmosphere is a 14,000 square foot plush country club showroom environment. We are a large Company with a friendly family feeling. The Marketing Director will be responsible for enrolling new members. This includes membership presentations to individuals, couples, and small groups of up to 4-10 people.  The presentation needs to be informative and educational, highly energetic, entertaining and fun!  No cold calling, prospecting or canvassing. All prospects have been pre-qualified, have scheduled appointments and are provided for you through our professional team of Marketing Associates. Your sole responsibility is to tour our 14,000 square foot showroom, present the unprecedented membership opportunity to guest, and enroll new members.

Requirements: Must be career-minded, energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated. Must be able to develop a comfortable personal relationship with guest quickly, possess a professional neat buttoned up appearance, and have the ability to communicate with all types of people at their level. You should have excellent communication skills with the ability to do one-on-one and group presentations.  ANY and ALL Toastmasters' Members, speakers and leaders need and should apply!  Additionally any entertainment acting, on stage performing, theatre and/or stand up comedy a plus!    Your work ethic should be, “Anything worth having is worth working for”.
