We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to provide guidance, support, training and oversight for 9 business office operations at multiple skilled nursing facilities.  The Regional Account Manager will assist the Regional financial team in implementing company wide initiatives.

 

Duties include training business office staff in AR, RTF and software programs.  Reviewing audits of financial files, RTF and petty cash.  Monitor and assist with month end close and other business office operations.  Cover in the absence of local Business Office Manager.  Assit with collections and implementation of new policies.  Conduct regular facility visits and effectively communicate with Administrator and Director of Ops.

 

 



Job Requirements

* 3 years experience in general  healthcare accounting, with long term care/skilled nursing experience, with at least 2 years in accounts receivable. Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and billing is required.
* Regional Management experience prefered
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar or equivalent experience. 
* Experience in conducting training programs and in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, Excel and Word. 
* Knowledge of billing, collections, accounting and audit practices and procedures. 
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to communicate effectively with staff,  residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization. 
* Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff. 
* Critical thinking ability required. Must be able to evaluate and solve complex problems and issues. Must have the ability to think on your feet and be able to communicate so all parties involved can understand.
* Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines. 
* Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce. 
* Ability to travel routinely.
