TransForce, the leader in DOT Safety, Compliance and Driver Leasing and one of the fastest growing, largest privately held staffing solutions providers to the transportation industry, has currently partnered with one of the largest and fastest growing suppliers . We are currently looking for drivers, based in Houston, TX . This could be your start for a whole new career.

 

Location: Houston, TX.

 

Job Description:

 

·        Local, Reginal, OTR, Casual Drivers

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

 

·         Must have a minimum of 24 months verifiable driving experience within the

          past 36 months

·         Must be at least 23 years of age

·         CDL Class A  with Hazmat Endorsement,

          Double and Triple, Flatbed Preferred but not Required.

·         No more than 2 moving violation in the last 3 years

          TWIC Card a must,  Stable Employment History.

          Provide Exceptional Customer Service

          Moffet, Princeton, Forklift,  and Pallet Jack  experience preferred.

·         Must pass a DOT pre-employment Drug Screen

 

Disqualifying Offenses-

 

       These violations include:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol (.04 or greater alcohol concentration, driving under the influence as prescribed by state law, or refusing  to test)
  • Driving under the influence of a controlled substance
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • More than 1 (one) excessive speeding (15 mph or more above the posted speed limit)
  • Reckless driving
  • A moving violation in connection with a fatal accident
  • Vehicular manslaughter or vehicular homicide
  • Eluding a police officer
  • Operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license

    Felony Convictions – No felony convictions, No confinement for conviction of criminal offense (regardless of severity) in the past 7 years.

    ¹ Recent is generally defined as within the past 24 months.

    *Applies to all drivers operating commercial motor vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating or actual weight of 10,001 or more (whichever is greater).

    ** Applies to all TransForce drivers.
