ASCENT HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS is the leading medical device reprocessor in the US.

  

We REPROCES, REMANUFACTURE and SELL single use medical/surgical devices to hospitals and surgical centers.

  

Reprocessed devices are FDA approved and are equivalent to an original manufacturer’s device but the cost is reduced by as much as 50% for the hospital.

  

  The Account Managers seek out new business and generate revenue from existing accounts by promoting and building strong customer relations within their assigned territory.

 

 All work is done inside the hospitals and you will work closely with various healthcare facility departments (Operating Room, Central Supply, Nursing, Environmental services, Physicians, Surgeons, C-suite) and other end users of single use medical devices to maintain and increase program participation, thereby increasing your earnings potential.

Our ideal Account Manager will have proven BUSINESS to BUSINESS sales experience [no inside sales], good closing skills and able to interact with C- level executives and decision makers.

  

  

Requirements

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST MEET ALL OF THESE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years OUTSIDE Medical Device sales selling directly to the -OR/Surgical suites.
  • Confident, self motivated and results oriented.
  • Willing to spend several hours a day on the road; 5 days a week (usually about 300-400 miles a week)
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Teambuilding skills with the ability to train others.
  • Able and willing to lift and carry up to 40lbs. frequently.
  • Time management skills and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Good presentation skills (conduct training and In-services for customers).

COMPENSATION:

  • $60,000 [Combined annual base salary and commission]
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Excellent benefit package

  

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Professional business/sales experience
  • Medical device sales experience is desired.
  • 4 year College degree preferred and/or 1-3 years of equivalent experience
