JOB SUMMARY:
The Food Service Trainer’s primary responsibilities are the follow-up with QSR Leaders while he/she is training at his/her designated store and the completion of the Kroger Food Safety Audits in all Turkey Hill locations. Additional responsibilities may include in-store training, assisting in new store openings, current program revisions, new program development and seminar presentations.
BASIC Job Duties:
1. Teach ServSafe classes and any other training program as determined by Turkey Hill Minit Markets.
2. Conduct weekly follow-up with QSR Leaders in training and provide a status report to the designated members Operations.
3. Verify completion of QSR Leader paperwork.
4. Provide on-site store training as needed.
5. Provide training and assistance at new store openings.
6. Conduct Kroger Food Safety audits in assigned regions.
7. Provide additional support to new Store Managers/QSR Managers as they are placed into assigned stores.
8. Posses complete understanding of all Turkey Hill Minit Markets policies and procedures
9. Posses complete understanding of all Turkey Hill Minit Markets training programs.
10. Responsible for the upkeep of all equipment and supplies assigned to their care. (Training Centers included.)

Position Prerequisites:
Prior Food Service experience is a requirement.
· Must be able to make presentations to all levels of associates, in large and small groups, in a knowledgeable and professional manner on behalf of Turkey Hill Minit Markets.
· Must have knowledge of store operations, and working knowledge of all policies and procedures as determined by Turkey Hill Minit Markets.
· Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, are essential for developing programs, proper documentation and expressing the goals of the company to all levels of associates.
· Must be willing to participate in training classes that are given by the company or requested by the company.
· Must be able to work flexible hours.
· Must be able to travel and stay overnight as needed.
· Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Products.
· Ability to positively interact with associates at all levels within the company and represent Turkey Hill Minit Markets in a professional manner at all times.
· Any criminal conviction (except minor traffic offenses) must be revealed, and depending on the nature of the conviction could result in disqualification for this position. Deception as to their existence or falsification of their exact nature will result in denial of employment.
Physical Demands of the Position:
· This job requires travel, some of which is overnight. The associate will be responsible to drive his/her personal car.
· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
