Parthenon Healthcare of Fort Walton
is a 120 bed skilled-nursing facility located in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Our facility prides itself on quality care with an excellent therapy success rate of returning residents to their homes. RN House Supervisor duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
  • Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
  • Make rounds with physicians, as necessary.
  • Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.

Requirements
Requirements of the RN House Supervisor:
 
  • Must possess a current, and active Florida license as an RN (Registered Nurse).
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability, and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
  • Must successfully complete the pre-screening process:  Background checks, references, pre-employment drug test and physical.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
