Overview:
The primary function of this position is to deliver high quality service to our members. This includes identifying members' financial needs and offering credit union products and services. Additionally it is important to present and explain Credit Union products and services to members and employees and assist them in utilizing these products and services. Greet members in the lobby. Open and process all new accounts at Credit Union Branches; assist members with lending information needs, obtain loan application information from members and distribute approved loans. Review and approve certain Credit Union Documentation.

Assist Branch Manager and Assistant Branch manager with supervision, development and training of branch staff.

Serve as acting manager when Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager is not present.

Assist Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in coordinating branch activities and all operational aspects of the branch, including security.

Respond to member comments and complaints, as needed.

Assist with resolution of regulatory and audit findings for the branch.

Present a positive image of the Credit Union through a
professional appearance and courteous attitude
DUTIES:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Maintain a smoothly functioning department that meets and can demonstrate compliance with standards set by all regulatory agencies.

Open and close branch independently and function as supervisor in management absence.

Sign off on checks over $3,000.00 presented by members.

Investigate teller losses
-
Perform transactions for BWCU employees and volunteers.

Encourage and develop cooperation among staff members to ensure a team effort and prompt service.

Anticipate projected cash usage.

Order cash replenishment and operate a cash vault.

Assist management staff in verifying and auditing branch currency and travelers checques regularly.

Make corrections and refunds on accounts when necessary, not to exceed the amount of 3 NSF fees per member.

Ability to perform transactions for BWCU employees and volunteers.

Assist in training new and lesser skilled employees.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Excellent oral/written communication skills and member service manners/techniques.
Ability to operate adding machine, applicable PC programs,and
typewriter.
Knowledge of principles and practices of a financial institu¬tion.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of financial institution experience including front-line transactions
Completion of annual LEU program.
**For employees taking this position who are not at an MSA III level, an action plan will be put in place to move to that level. Documentation of approval from Regional Manager is required.
Attendance of management training courses will begin as soon as the employee takes this position and will continue on a regular basis.
