Job Description

My client, an established and growing manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Engineer.   They are located in New Brunswick, NJ.

About the Opportunity

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for conducting testing on a wide variety of parts and upholding quality standards throughout the facility.


Duties 

·         Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvements.

·         Conduct FMEA, process capability studies, and DOE.

·         GD & T

·         Train employees in inspection, statistical, and problem solving techniques.

·         Map work processes and evaluate and non-value added activities.

·         Implement technical analyses to eliminate variation in our processes.

·         Plan and conduct corporate quality audits on regular intervals.

·         Perform 1st Piece and 1st Article inspection

·         Perform Process capability Studies

 



Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years experience in quality
  • CMM experience a plus
