1658, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER, CUSTOMER ENGINEER: MO location, within 50 miles of Cape Girardeau. Looking to join an award winning flexible packaging leader? Do your skills include working with form, fill, seal (FFS) equipment? Are you a blown film processing wiz? Are you skilled at identifying and correcting filling issues? If you enjoy “making things happen" and have demonstrated your ability to work with others to improve the company and customer product, then we should talk. Our customer’s film products serve a wide variety of consumer and industrial applications including agricultural products, food bags/pouches, pet products, protective film, labeling/laminating and so much more.
RESPONSIBILITIES

You will travel to customer locations and work with their manufacturing staff to resolve packaging issues and support product development activities for their facilities.

You will work with R&D to develop product recipes for new and modified flexible packaging.

Your ability to build and develop relationships with customers that promotes understanding for their new or improved product lines is highly sought after.
QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify, you must have a minimum of a BSME or similar degree (MS degree is also a strong possibility).

You should have a strong background in plastic packaging materials typical to the flexible packaging processes and strength with form fill seal (FFS) applications.

Individuals whose experience also includes printing, lamination and bag/pouch making are also of interest.
Travel will be in the 50-70% range. Our customer offers a generous relocation package, top of the line benefits and a salary in the $70 - $90K range.
