Description

The Customer Service Inspection Manager visits various locations throughout Shelbyville, Decatur, Mattoon, Effingham and surrounding areas to inspect trailers that need repair.  This Manager reports to the President of the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Visit prospective customers throughout territory and getting approval on trailer repairs

  • Work with service mechanics to organize and perform all work assigned each day

  • Work with dispatch to organize and delegate work to be performed

  • Check the quality of all work performed the previous day

  • Complete all necessary paperwork

  • Ensure inventory stock levels and reorder inventory as needed

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times

 

Requirements
  • Technical/Trade School certificate required along with High School diploma

  • Valid Drivers license, CDL Class A preferred

  • 3 years of truck driving experience preferred

  • Ability to read and analyze various reports

  • Mathematical and financial knowledge/skills

  • Strong understanding of trucking and automotive terms/concepts

  • Ability to travel extensively within the territory in all types of weather

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self motivated, requiring little supervision
