Responsibilities:
Our Financial Planning and Analysis Department is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to manage, develop, implement and interpret complex financial models used for corporate strategic planning and control, by performing the following duties:
- Responsible for financial analysis and reporting of integral aspects of business, including the following:
- Prepare monthly financial forecast including P&L, balance sheet and cash flows; manage and revise financial models as business evolves; utilize financial models for scenarios and what-if analysis; work with accounting to close books, reconcile and improve forecasting accuracy; participate in annual financial plans and budgeting; develop long-term financial forecasting models; develop new dynamic financial models and templates that will help drive improved analysis of operational and financial performance; maintain functional models that accurately identify trends.
- Analytical support to senior management: run various ad hoc analysis; analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance and identify trends and recommend improvements accordingly.
- Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action.
- Monitor and research prepaid wireless industry trends; prepare industry competitive analysis; help prepare financial presentation for board of directors; provide financial analysis and forecast to investors and other ad hoc analysis as needed.
