Purpose

The Marketing Specialist will assist the Sales and Marketing Department with necessary sales and marketing functions. The Marketing Specialist will help the marketing goals of Alliance Laundry Systems through daily functions and special projects

• Develops advertisement placement schedules for each brand and negotiates media advertisements for both

print and online ads.

• Manages invoicing and placement for all media including: paid search engine advertising for both domestic

and intl. brands and channels, magazines, yellow pages and online banner ads.

• Coordinates media planning with marketing and national sales managers.

• Manages yellow page program with national sales managers, distributors and vendor.

• Forecasts and updates monthly worksheets with forecasts/budgets for online, magazine, paid search, yellow

pages and tradeshow expenses.

• Monitors competitive comparison metrics for print publications and online used to determine media purchases

and sales lead effectiveness.

Meeting and Tradeshow Coordination

• Coordinates and maintains over 50 national trade shows ALS participates in.

• Maintains all show expenses, preparing budgeting recommendations for future shows and coordinating preshow

marketing communications.

• Coordinates all aspects of each trade show including set-up and tear-down, booth personnel and work

schedules, presentation of products and services, and also works closely with National Sales Managers, brand

distributors, show management and event staff to effectively execute each show.

• Maintains and schedules trade shows booths for all shows.

• Negotiates meeting contracts and administrates.

• Administrates and assists in the planning for the National Sales Meeting, Customer Service Distributor

Councils and Distributor Meetings

1. Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written and communication skills

• Skills with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Superior organizational and negotiating experience

2. Education:

• Position requires a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related degree.

3. Physical Requirements

• Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
