Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist
Physician Assistant

MedOptions is the leading provider of behavioral health services to residents of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in New England.  We serve over 400 facilities and 25,000 residents through an inter-disciplinary team that includes nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, psychiatrists, physician assistants, clinical psychologists and licensed clinical social workers.  And the demand for our services continues to grow.

We are seeking a nurse practitioner, physician assistant or psychiatric clinical nurse specialist experienced in providing medication management services to the geriatric and/or chronically mentally ill populations. 

At MedOptions, you will benefit from making a difference in the lives of your patients and the facility staff that care for them.  While practicing independently, you will be supported by experienced clinical managers, regular educational meetings, case study teleconferences, our own on-line forum where you can share best practices with your colleagues and clinician designed electronic medical records system.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have an advanced practice degree (APRN, CNS, PA-C, MSN-FNP, PMHNP, GNP, ANP or similar degree), be certified by the ANCC or NCCPA, be licensed in Connecticut as a nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist or physician assistant, have a state controlled substance number and federal DEA number.
