Job Description

We are currently seeking a retail Loss Prevention Manager for our new location in Atlanta. 

This position reports to and works with the Loss Prevention and Safety Director, and is responsible for administering, implementing, and auditing company adherence to safety and security policies and procedures and risk management issues.  Responsibilities for this position include: inventory and asset control, including auditing physical inventory and reviewing incoming and outboud freight and employee purchases;  providing physical security such as maintaining the alarm system and conducting internal and external theft investigation and prevention;  implementing and monitoring the safety program; auditing the monthly safety inspection report; handling risk management issues such as workers compensation, general liability, and autor liability claims; reviewing all criminal background checks used in the hiring process; and directing/conducting any necessary criminal investigation.

The ideal candidate will possess these attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety or Security; equivalent experience may be substituted;
  • 3-5 years of experience in a security related field, Supervisory experience preferred;
  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of a PC;
  • Must have flexible availability;
  • Must be able to pass criminal and drug pre-employment screening;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
