Exceptional Management Opportunity with Top Notch Organization!

Our Client is looking for candidates with experience owning and managing a large Change Management Program for Corporate IT.  This is a leadership role within the organization and this person will work within the Information Technology Governance Organization (ITG).  Our Client has a change control process in place today and they are looking for a Sr. person to come in and not only take over the existing process but to take ownership and  transform it with industry leading practices and efficiencies.  One of the major efforts being undertaken by our Client is a large multi year roll out of core software systems.  Candidates must be experienced working within a large software implementation cycle and be capable of leading the evolution of the change and release processes.  Our client is based in and around Metro Detroit and has a user base of 20k plus.  Candidates need to have specific experience working in a large environment and transforming it's change and release procedures significantly. 

This role will interact with all levels of management and executives within IT and within the business.  Candidates must be able to balance the day to day change and release operations with the development of new processes and implementation of best practices.  The whole IT organization will look to this person for Change Control and Release leadership and guidance.  Candidates must be extremely confident in their background and capable of setting a clear direction in the face of possible descent within teams or departments.  This person will be charged with making decisions and maintaining compliance to all required processes within the Change and Release process.

Candidates will need demonstrated experience developing and managing the program to support a robust Change and Release Management structure.  The role will manage the Change Advisory Board (CAB) agenda and receive and review Request for Changes (RFC).  Candidates must have specific experience Managing  the Forward Schedule of Changes (FSC) and coordinate the Post-Implementation Review (PIR).  This role will be expected to lead the effort to design and implement electronic Change Management and candidates are expected to have specific experience with electronic change management in their recent employment history.



Job Requirements

Must have:
5+ years in an exclusive change management role within a large enterprise organization.
Must have coordinated the Post-Implementation Review (PIR)
Must have managed the Forward Schedule of Changes (FSC)
Must have managed Change Advisory Board (CAB)
ITIL Foundation Certification.
ITIL Service Manager experience.
ITIL Practitioner, Release and Control  experience.
Experience with database reporting tools and database structure.
Excellent verbal and written skills.


Nice to have:

Business Process Re-Design (BPR)
Program / Project Management.
Advanced ITIL Certification.
Healthcare industry experience.
