Senior Balancing Technician
Job Description:
- The primary duty of the Senior Balancing Technician is to take the leading role on Testing, Adjusting and Balancing air and hydronic systems for institutional facilities. Will take direction from Project Engineer or Project Manager.
- Will be involved in recruitment and training of other balancing technicians.
- Plan and conduct work according to standard techniques and procedures.
- Work closely with the engineers in the development of project specific approaches to problems.
- Schedule and supervise technicians on projects of varying size and complexity.
- May work with client or contractor representatives.
Requirements
Senior Balancing Technician
Requirements:
- 5 + years TAB experience as defined in job description.
- Must be willing to travel
- NEBB certification or will be required within 6 months from date of hire
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office.
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required.
This position may be subject to a pre-employment drug test and drug and alcohol testing during the course of your employment based upon HDR's Drug Testing and Drug Free Workplace Policy.
