This position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of five years of clinical experience with long-term care nursing providers.  Expertise with the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process including care plans, MDS's and RAP's is required.  Knowledge of Indiana Medicaid reimbursement systems is desired.  Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are necessary.  Consulting training will be provided.  This position requires travel to client locations and some overnight travel.

  • Implementation and presentation of RAI/MDS training programs
  • MDS validity audits
  • Presentation of RAI/MDS group training sessions for provider groups and trade associations
  • Track RAI/MDS trends and regulations
