Job Description

Immediate opening for an energetic, motivated HIT professional to administer and instruct in the Health Information Technology program of National College of Business & Technology's Memphis Campus. This is a full-time opportunity with benefits.

The Director of Health Information Technology acts as department head for the campus's HIT program, with emphasis on the associate degree program in Health Information Technology. You will be required to advise students, instruct three to four courses per term, establish externship opportunities for students with local hospitals and medical practices, and assist in hiring faculty.

Job Requirements

Credential as a RHIT  or RHIA is required with 3 years direct work experience. A minimum of an associate's degree along with preparation in educational theory and techniques are also required.
