The Role
Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers is seeking highly motivated, energetic, and reliable ‘blank canvas’ to join our team as a Trainee Territory Manager. This position will be based in Perris, California initially with the possibility of relocation during or at the end of the training program.

As a Trainee Territory Manager you will be placed into a 12 – 18 month ‘learning while doing’ program that exposes you to every aspect of the auction business. Upon successful completion of the training program, the Trainee Territory Manager will graduate to a Territory Manager position.

Requirements The Requirements
You graduated from a post-secondary education program within the past two years and you have some work experience under your belt. Current equipment marketing experience and some experience with heavy equipment would be assets, but not essential.

Your interests include a passion for people, an interest in sales and business and a desire to learn everything about heavy equipment, trucks and trailers. You are a great communicator, you are detail-oriented and you thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ability to meet or exceed goals without ever sacrificing integrity is of key importance at Ritchie Bros., where closing a deal comes secondary to developing and maintaining honest customer relationships.

Travel will be required on a regular basis and an openness to relocate during training and/or at the end of the training period would be a must. Relocation possibilities may exist to any of the territories within our Southwest Division that consists of: California, Nevada and Arizona.
