The Vice President of Information Technology’s role is to provide vision and leadership for developing, maintaining and enhancing existing systems, as well as identifying and implementing new initiatives. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s IT operations and systems infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated history of building teams, managing people, and leading IT projects and processes, with a hands-on, proactive style, delivering support and solutions throughout the Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction and guidance regarding systems and technology.

Direct the day-to-day management of the IT Department. Develop specific project plans and monitor progress on plan rollouts.

Oversee system configurations for branches, database management, system security, HIPPA compliance, and internal support.

Evaluate telephone systems and manage telecommunications costs.

Ensure internal and external procedures are documented in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

Oversee the development and implementation of tools and reports to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the core business operating systems.

Create a technology vision for the Company and develop plans for the implementation of new technology projects.

Identify opportunities to maximize resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development. Direct any outside support services.

Revise and improve upon the enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.

Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale.

Supervise recruitment, development, retention and organization of all IT staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies.
