Advertising Account Executive
Denver Westword
Denver, CO
We are seeking self-starting, motivated, competitive sales professionals to join our
Advertising Sales Department. As an Account Executive, you will sell print and online advertising campaigns as well as event sponsorships to a diverse group of business owners and decision makers at restaurants, bars, clubs, boutiques, furniture stores, etc.
Account Executives are responsible for:
- Prospecting leads, making calls, going on appointments to bring in new business and maintaining current business.
- In addition, Account Executives are involved in the development of client advertising campaigns, including the creative process and informing clients of marketing opportunities.
Requirements
Successful applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Motivated
- Smart on their feet
- Outgoing and personable
- Understand that you get out what you put in to a sales position.
- Sales experience is preferred, but not necessary.
- A car is required and you should preferably live in the Denver metro area.
