Description

Our client is a global provider of specialty lines insurance. They presently offer an opportunity to join their growing organization in a key role as the Policy Administration, Licensing & Commission Lead to be located in NJ. This position will be responsible for supporting the operational build-out of the organization, by supporting the creation of processes and systems that will be used in the management of the US Operations. This role, along with others who are part of the operations team, will support all of the operational processes necessary to acquire and maintain both insurance and reinsurance business. areas of expertise needed are: Policy Administration, Policy Accounting, Broker Licensing and Commission Statements.

 

Billing, Licensing and Commissions Lead responsibilities:

Licensing and Appointment Management – This position will be responsible for ensuring on the insurance side, that brokers/producers selling our client's products are properly licensed in the state to do business.  On the reinsurance side, this position will be responsible for collecting the necessary due diligence information and add the entity to client's Reinsurance WorkStation (RWS).

Billing and Reconciliation – This position will be responsible for ensuring the timely execution of both policy owner billing and the reconciliation of payments received.  This will include the resolution of any/all differences before closing to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements.

Commission Payments – This position will be responsible for completing all the tasks necessary to ensure commission are paid accurately and on a timely basis.

Policy Changes – This position will be responsible for administering and documenting all policy changes as well as ensuring their completion on a timely basis.  Priority will be placed on financial changes that impact billing, reconciliation and/or commission payments.

Document Management – This position will be responsible for the scanning/ingestion and indexing of all documents pertaining to reinsurance pre-sales processes and all insurance processes.

Requirements

Billing, Licensing and Commissions Lead requirements:

Highly organized, detail oriented individual with strong time management skills.

An accounting degree or previous related experience.

Professional and personable in being able to work collaboratively.

Demonstrated proficiently will technology tools including strong MS office skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Previous experience in A&H Group or other Group products billing and reconciliation as well as licensing and appointments a plus.

Ability to move into a supervisory role as volumes require.
