Store Managers are responsible for managing all operational aspects of a company-owned retail store.  The primary objective will be to achieve or exceed sales plan for the store.  This will be accomplished by:  developing excellent customer service, developing and executing events and services, effective management and development of human resources, efficient payroll management and pro-active loss prevention management.

Requirements

Fulfillment of the duties of this position requires incumbent to have retail experience, strong verbal selling skills, organizational and time management skills, leadership and interpersonal skills, flexibility, a strong sense of urgency, the ability to adapt to change and the ability to train and motivate employees.   Basic qualifications include:  eligible to work in the United States, must have reliable transportation, must be at least 16 years of age with appropriate work permit as required, and willing to work the day before and after major holidays including evenings and/or weekends.   In addition, the physical requirements involve the ability to stand for a prolonged period of time, able to regularly bend, squat and reach overhead, and able to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds; i.e., fixture parts and cartons.
