Registered Nurse

Dialysis Corporation of America partners with physicians and hospitals providing the needed balance to consistently deliver high quality care to patients with failed kidney function.

We have an experienced management team with expertise in facility design, staffing, initial survey and continuous management services. Policies and procedures are in place to successfully receive Medicare certification in hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis. DCA provides the tools, highly trained staff and comprehensive renal care services that enable the nephrologist to focus on what is most important - caring for patients.

To add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking Registered Nurse’s (RN) for our  Hyattsville, MD facility.

General responsibilities include:

• Rinses, primes, and positions all appropriate equipment, attaches and installs all required tubing, prepares fluid delivery systems and fluid bath, calibrates and checks

  alarms, sets monitors, and performs system check as required

• Inspects and assesses access sites

• Ensures quality patient care

• Assesses, makes judgments, and treats problem situations on dialysis related to blood pressure, weight changes, access patency, dialysate composition, diffusion time and anticoagulation according to established protocols

• Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff by following infection control procedures

• Current license as an RN in the state of MD

• Dialysis experience required

• Experience in Med Surg or ICU preferred,

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to function in a fast-paced, team-based environment

• Must be very analytical and have excellent problem solving

  skills

• Self starter with great organization skills, especially time

  management skills
