Description

We have a food processing facility that is in need of a Maintenance Manager.  Duties include:

  • Supervising and managing the maintenance department;
  • Managing the PSM/Ammonia programs;
  • Managing and updating work orders, PM programs and SAP;
  • Responsibility for cost justification, compiling specs, ordering, and overseeing installation of new equipment;
  • Safety compliance and company policy compliance for all employees;
  • Participating in capital planning and budgeting process;
  • Resolving operating problems to reduce downtime;
  • Cooperating with all departments to ensure a coordinated work relationship exists at all times;
  • Keeping senior management informed on operating or staffing problems;
  • Participating in Organizational Teams and committees.

Requirements

Education:       4-year degree required; Business Management or Engineering preferred.

 

Required skills:  

  • 5+ years maintenance management experience including experience in a food processing facility;
  • Must have experience in PSM/Ammonia, Refrigeration;
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and SAP;
  • Experienced in personnel management;
  • Blancher or peeler experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relations;
  • The ability to recognize problem situations and take appropriate steps to resolve them;
  • Master Electrician license preferred.
