Seasonal position as warehouse associate and driver in Denver area branch of Lansing Building Products, a national exterior building products distributor

Responsible for delivering customer orders and for loading and unloading customer and company trucks at the warehouse

Experience with a forklift is a definite plus

Success could lead to quick promotion to other warehouse and inside positions, including management positions

This is a seasonal position without benefits. While there are no guarantees, success in this position could lead to full-time employment. Lansing offers medical and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick leave and other benefits to its full-time employees.

More About Your Duties

Day usually begins around 7 a.m. when you depart in to deliver customer orders

You will work with other associates loading and unloading trucks and will work in the warehouse as needed

Day usually ends between 4 and 5 p.m. -- generally no weekend work

Requirements

High integrity and high energy

Experience in building products desired

Strong leadership and training skills as evidenced by previous activities or work experience

Ability to lead a team and work one-on-one with customers

Ability and willingness to lift boxes and specific building materials weighing as much as 70 pounds

Strong customer service skills

Ability to manage successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business

Strong, positive attitude

At least one year of previous warehouse experience
