 Financial Aid Officer

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

The Financial Aid Officer will be responsible for the following: 

 

  •  Maintain awareness of financial aid resources. 
  • Advise prospective students of all tuition funding sources available. 
  • Assist students with questions regarding the completion of the Financial Aid applications.
  • Conduct entrance interviews, testing, and exit interviews as required by Title IV and company regulations. 
  • Performs need analysis for Pell Grant estimates. 
  • Create estimated financial plans for prospective and current students. 
  • Accurately and timely prepare forms. 
  • Prepare student promissory notes and ensure that promissory notes are properly completed and signed, with required documentation


Job Requirements


 Financial Aid Officer

 
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred; or one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations with specific knowledge of FFEL Loan Programs, PELL Grants, and Title IV.
