The company is seeking an experienced ecommerce technology expert to lead and manage a small cross-trained team in the development, functionality, growth and management of its websites, and lead all aspects of technology for a fast-growing company.  This position will be responsible for partnering with our Product Management team to develop a strategy for best-in-class functionality. This position reports directly to the EVP.

The Ideal Candidate will:

·         Lead in the development and implementation of all day-to-day ecommerce marketing strategies and design changes.

·         Have a deep understanding of website development and implementation (as well as maintenance and troubleshooting) to build and maintain a robust, interactive website.  

·         Work with the Product Development team to plan, develop and highlight key features and functionality to drive sales, engage customers and report effectiveness.

·         Have experience (or possess the ability to quickly learn) working within cross-trained teams in the development and implementation of various elements, including product development, blogs, bricks-and-mortar retail, interactive media, customer service, etc.

·         Have experience with developing, managing, implementing and/or maintaining as many of the various aspects of ecommerce as possible including online marketing, SEO, affiliate marketing, CRM.

·         Have experience or expertise in warehouse logistics, UPS Worldship® integration, VPN,

·         Have experience in myriad levels of hardware and software functionalities in as many aspects of technology as possible

·         Have deep knowledge of the ecommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development strategies, usability best practices, industry trends, consumer trends and sales strategies

·         Have both the ability to influence, interact and communicate to upper level management as well as hire, manage and train entry-level support staff,

·         Keep management informed regarding business performance and trends/

·         Demonstrate leadership skills, build teams, and motivate associates

·         Have a working knowledge of web and application server technologies

·         Have strong program analysis, design and coding skills

·         Have broad experience in business or interacting with business organizations

·         Be able to work at both a conceptual and detail level

·         Be a self-starter and able to work independently

·         Be able to research and advise on emerging web technologies and programming languages

·         Possess a full understanding of the integration of multiple systems

·         Have excellent written, verbal and visual communications

Requirements Required education, skills, abilities, and experience:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Business or equivalent work experience is highly desired

·         4 - 6 years related employment in website development with an ecommerce company, preferably in women's apparel or related industry

·         Must have strong affinity for ecommerce and multi-channel retailing and work well in a small organization

·         Design, provisioning, and implementation of network topologies, including servers, workstations, telephony, and software applications

·         Windows Server 2008 administration in an Active Directory environment

·         Maintain, upgrade, patch, and harden server environments

·         Windows Backup methodologies – responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring backups of all critical systems

·         Recommend new equipment, IT related policies and procedures, and work with various vendors for procurement

·         Group Policy administration/implementation

·         Perform on-site, off-site, and remote technical support

·         Technology-related inventory management and control

·         Create and maintain technical documentation, including maintaining PCI compliance

·         Maintain communication with executive staff concerning project deadlines, downtime, and maintenance windows

·         Provide emergency on-call support

·         Proficient understanding of TCP/IP, including solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations

·         Security, including firewall administration, maintain access control lists associated with user accounts and network resources

·         Manage and maintain Layer 3 switches

·         Perform daily systems monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of all hardware and critical IT resources and systems

·         Review application and system logs to ensure a proactive approach to systems management

·         Understanding of deployment and configuration of wireless networking technologies

·         In-depth understanding of DNS & DHCP

·         Able to support MAC OS.X workstations

·         Understanding of storage requirements, and solutions (primarily RAID)

·         Ability to perform project management functions with our 3rd party application development teams programming in PHP & ASP

·         Firm understanding of FTP

·         Understanding of relational database management systems
