Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to manage and develop all activities associated with building, developing and maintaining our government National Account channel. Actively develop new federal government and DOD contractor accounts. Proactively review existing government accounts in your assigned area to ensure we are maximizing our opportunity to retain the customer. Sell additional services that will assist with the delivery of customer requirements and insure that our government customers’ expectations are met.

Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc. consists of 70+ branches responsible for selling, installing, monitoring and on-going service. Products and services are brought to the market through a dedicated sales force and a delivery network.
The Government National Account Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Government Programs. This position interfaces with all levels of branch management and Area/National Sales Management for guidance, support and development of marketing strategies.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Develop and maintain federal and government contractor account clients while meeting the objectives of the National Account team.
2. Meet objectives of sales forecast and plan
3. Develop business plans to grow the government account base while supporting the National Account team
4. Insure that customers are in full understanding of their system operation, billing and service from Stanley CSS. Assemble the correct departments if customer issues arise to provide a response to the customer need.
Education and Experience:
1. Strong Interpersonal, negotiation, communication, organizational and multitasking skills
2. 1-2 years of outside sales experience or customer service
3. Federal government or DOD contractor sales experience preferred
4. Security experience strongly preferred
5. College Degree preferred
6. Possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
