Netchemia, is a rapidly growing, award winning provider of On-Demand software for K-12 school districts across the country.  Our goal is to help educational institutions achieve tangible and measurable results with Human Capital Management (SchoolRecruiter) and Student Success (netIEP & netRTI) initiatives delivered using the smartest and most intuitive technology.

 

Netchemia is looking for a Lead Generation Specialist (LGS) that is customer focused, self-motivated and results driven. The Lead Generation Specialist will make calls to prospective customers at school districts around the country and qualify them for Netchemia products and services. They will introduce our software, educate decision makers at the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent level on the value of our software solutions. The LGS will determine if the school district would be a good fit for our solutions. After qualification, leads will be handed off to the sales organization. Every call will be documented in our CRM system.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular and systematic prospecting activities in a given territory. 50+ prospecting telephone calls per day is a minimum activity requirement. 
  • Find qualified leads for Netchemia’s software products.  Meet minimum lead generation requirement consistently.
  • Respond to prospective customer inquiries by phone, email or mail.
  • Follow established processes to maintain and update prospect contacts and communications in CRM.
  • Learn about current and new products and continuously improve lead generation skills.
  • Stay well informed on current industry trends and talk intelligently about the education industry as a whole.
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.
Requirements
  • At least one year of outbound business-to-business tele-sales experience. Prior sales experience in a technical field is helpful. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication, prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Candidate must be personable, competitive and high energy. 
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic are a must.
  • Ability to talk effectively with a broad range of decision influencers and decision makers.
  • Strong investigation and research aptitude. Ability to learn technical information and communicate technical details required.
  • Competent in managing their time. Must embrace our proven customer management processes and systems.
  • Aptitude with software including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Windows, and CRM.
