Job Description

Associate Supply Chain Management (SCM) Rep

Job Overview:


  • Assists SCM Reps by providing coverage in the absence of SCM Rep.
  • Associate SCM Reps are responsible to oversee daily site and operational activities to conform to FedEx Supply Chain Services and customer requirements.
  • Works closely with customer and other branch employees to ensure complete customer satisfaction and efficient branch operations.
  • Generates operational reports used in assessing performance objectives and improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrates ability to multi task and prioritize workload as necessary to achieve maximum results.
  • Oversees the daily operational activities to ensure all FedEx Supply Chain Services and client established objectives are met. Responsible for communicating shift activity to Operations Manager.

 

Position Information:

KNOWLEDGE

 

  • Ability to multitask, adapt, cope, and prioritize
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office platform as well as other applicable platforms
  • Good analytical, planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Distribution or related field plus 0-2 years progressive, related experience in a transportation management or distribution environment. (preferred)


OR
  • Associates degree in TM, logistics, distribution or related field plus 4 years progressive related experience.


OR
  • Equivalent
