Description

Panera Bread is seeking a driven and results oriented sales person as Catering Market Manager for the Kansas City Metro and Kansas operations. With 29 locations and a growing market, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.  This position requires a high level of personal drive and exceptional organizational skills. Must be a service oriented individual with excellent relationship building abilities. The position does require traveling within the Kansas City Metro as well as St. Joseph, Wichita, Topeka, Manhattan and Lawrence to build catering sales.

 

The position of Catering Market Manager is responsible for the following items but also assists in other areas of the Company as needed.

·         Work closely with store locations and District Management to ensure exceptional guest experience

·         Communication with store Catering Coordinators, to stay current on customer experience, trends and opportunities.

·         Active involvement in networking and charitable events.

·         Maintains daily, well- documented information, resulting in superior account service and increased revenues.

·         Prompt follow up on all customer calls and requests in an efficient and expedient manner.

·         Focus on revenue-producing activity and maximizes selling time by dedicated 80% work time on direct Sales efforts.     

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the following:

·         Minimum 3 Years of Current Sales experience, preferably corporate and social group sales within a restaurant or hotel.

·         National Account experience preferred

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Superior cold calling and presentation skills.

·         Detail oriented and organized individual with a “can do" attitude.

·         Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively meet all deadlines. 

·         Results oriented individual that can work effectively with limited supervision.

·         Proven track record of success.
