Job Description

Cancer Treatment Centers of America is currently recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse to serve as a Physician Practice Coordinator in our Outpatient Oncology Clinic located at our hospital in Northeast Philadelphia.



Job Summary/Purpose:

This position is responsible for the coordination of all systems/services required for the management of a single physician practice that may include Registered Nurse(s), Nurse Practitioner(s), and/or Physician Assistant(s).  The Physician Practice Coordinator functions as an advocate and contact person for patient, family, healthcare team members, stakeholders, and outside agencies and providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal clinical and resource outcomes.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or eligible for immediate PA licensure.
  • BSN required.
  • Five years Clinical Oncology Nursing experience required.
  • OCN Certification preferred.
  • Outpatient Oncology Clinic experience preferred.
  • Experience working directly with a physician, either in a clinic or office environment, strongly preferred.
  • Physician Practice Management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to use computer and software; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc., and other software as required including, but not limited to, Electronic Medical Records systems.
