Description
Under the general direction of the Program Manager, the Child Care Provider will care for children whose parents are participating in adult education and workforce development classes. Child Care provider will interact with and engage the children in enriching activities in both Spanish and English. Love of children, patience, stamina and flexibility. Creative energy, enthusiastic, able to handle multiple priorities. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Physician statement of freedom from TB and communicable diseases. First aid/CPR certificates required within 30 days of employment; food handler’s card may be needed. Able to lift, bend, stoop, reach and run.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent. Preference to applicants who have completed Associates in Early Childhood Education. Certified in CPR. Preference given to applicants who have obtained CDA.
