Our client, with plant locations in NE Iowa, is looking for an experienced HR professional to assume all human resources related responsibilities for two plant locations. Prospective candidates MUST have previous, recent experience in an HR role within the manufacturing industry. Must also have previous, recent experience working with organized labor unions.
Key Responsibilities Include:
*Managing and monitoring all HR Related Activities for 2 plant locations in NE Iowa--including monitoring and maintaining local procedures, as well as providing training to employees on any changes in policies and procedures
*Overseeing safety initiatives for the plants
*Handling compensation and benefits related duties for employees working at the 2 plant locations
*Handling local recruitment and hiring efforts, as well as conducting new employee orientation and training programs for new hires, at both plant locations
*Supervise one direct report
