Lead Technical support/ Customer Care Technician

Next Day Flyers is seeking a Technical Support / Pre Press / Customer Care Technician to join our growing team. 

About the Position

Applicants must possess expert knowledge in pre-press production with customer service skills and can demonstrate a thorough knowledge of professional publishing applications for Mac OS and PC, plus the following:

• Strong working knowledge of PDF workflow
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to handle and coordinate multiple jobs at one time
• Ability to work internally with managers, and have a comfort level dealing directly with clients
• Ability to manage individual work-flow and thrive in a high-volume environment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent listening ability
• Business level written and verbal communication skills

Job Responsibilities
 

• Prepare customer files for output
• Troubleshoot files
• Resolve customer concerns to drive a positive outcome
• Understand that projects are deadline driven
• Color correction
• Create special die lines / templates and mock ups
• Handle complex and non standard requests
• Communicate and coordinate production details with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Resolve situations in one call by identifying customer concerns
• Previous customer service experience a plus.
• PrintReady and SignaStation experience a plus.
• Leadership skills and training, knowledge of gang runs in commercial printing is a plus.
• Able to train and write procedures also mobile fit.
