Our client, a Prestigious Investment bank located in NYC (Midtown) is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager with Banking & Brokerage financial accounting experience.

 

Client is seeking individuals who will work closely with Financial Acctg (FA) clients to understand requirements and interface with multiple development teams to satisfy business requests and assist with defining solutions for firm compliance. Role will entail liaising with business units and IT groups to gather, document, analyze and communicate the needs and requirements of the business users. Project management responsibilities are also entailed in the position to participate in project planning sessions and to manage SDLC+ deliverables across various groups within a specific time frame.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of financial products

  • Solid business analysis experience

  • Solid project management experience

  • Proven track record working within a Banking / Financial data related environment

  • Accounting, consulting and banking/financial

  • Ability to identify issues, recognize root causes and take appropriate action or recommend possible scenarios to solve problems

  • Demonstrate a strong track record of working both independently and within a team, using one's own initiative to provide robust and timely solutions

  • Ability to manage own work plan and schedule to successfully meet goals with tight deadlines and minimal supervision

  • Flexibility and openness to change

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
