ger Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. currently has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced office administrator  receptionist openings in its Patient Care Center Amherst NY, Qualified applicants will have no less than 3 years related medical office receptionist experience and a positive, professional demeanor. Job duties will include but not limited to:

Responsibilities of the Front Office: 

 

  • Greet Patients, demographics and Collect Copays 

  • Verify Insurance and schedule patients appointments

  • Post all adjustments

  • Computer experience required

  • Low level bookkeeping skills is a plus 

  • Billing experience preferred

  • At least 3 years medical office receptionist experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual (Spanish) helpful  


 
 

Requirements
  • 3+ years previous medical office experience.  

  • Proficient in using MS Office software.

  • Professional enthusiastic attitude and demeanor.

  • Strong interpersonal / communications skills.

  • Experience with ICD9 coding & HCFA 1500’s & EOB’s is a plus. 

  • Stable job history with professional references.
