Vice President Sales and Marketing

DreamSakes (http://www.dreamsakes.com/) is seeking an experienced Vice President Sales and Marketing in our Manchester, CT facility. The individual will have P & L responsibility and must have experience in consumer marketing, ideally web-based marketing.

Primary Duties:

• Develop marketing focus to expand product recognition and sales
• Coordinate allocation of resources, including personnel and 3^rd party vendors, to multiple projects
• Analyze distribution methods and propose different methods to management
• Determine optimal staffing levels as growth occurs
• Produce statistical and other reports on the efficiency and effectiveness of the project operation; drive continuous improvement of processes, people and technology to improve quality and profitability through Lean Six Sigma (working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma a plus but not mandatory.)

Pre-requisites:

• Bachelor Degree
• 3+ years of management experience in a market driven environment, including managing and coordinating supervisory personnel
• Experience in web based marketing
• Proven ability to introduce process improvements
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
• Knowledge of job costing requirements

The following experience will be looked on favorably although not critical:

• Experience in high-volume scanning, imaging and data entry
• Client-server network experience (MS Windows)
• Knowledge of or exposure to systems running on an MS-SQL Database
