Description
City Hospital, part of West Virginia University Hospitals – East, in Martinsburg, WV, is seeking a Vice President of Patient Care Services (VPPCS) to join its executive team. Martinsburg is located in the growing Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and only a 75 minute drive from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD.
The Vice President of Patient Care Services will be responsible for providing executive leadership to both nursing and non-nursing departments.
As a contributing member of the Executive team, the VPPCS will help create the vision for patient care services at all levels which align with the strategic direction of the organization. Under the VPPCS's leadership, the patient care services management team will define the goals and objectives to further the mission and vision of the organization.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a proven leader who has demonstrated success in creating a culture of accountability to drive patient care to the next professional level. We are seeking an experienced executive with broad management, planning, financial and clinical skills. Master’s degree in nursing or related discipline required. Must have RN licensure.
