Senior Financial Analyst

This position will report into the Manager of Finance and provide financial analysis and leadership to the Planning & Analysis team. The responsibilities would include partnering with the Business Technology leadership in providing financial leadership, forecasts and analysis to drive positive business results.

Develop monthly financial forecasts to drive the decision making process.

• Prepare monthly financial presentations to communicate financial results and performance to financial forecasts and yearly plans.
• Assess financial performance and develop action plans to achieve business goals.
• Identify business functional drivers and develop unit cost methodologies to support in-depth analysis and decision-making.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and strategic insight to cross-functional teams.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for area business leadership as requested to support business decisions.

 Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 4 years experience.  Desired experience in:  unit cost, cost allocations, Activity Based Costing (ABC), building cost models, unit cost metrics,etc.

Other desired skills include:

* Financial analysis (including variance analysis and expense trends analysis), financial planning, and forecasting.
• Work experience and proficiency with Hyperion Essbase, Excel ( including formulas, pivot tables, v look-ups) and Access.
• Experience must include excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and complex financial modeling and data driven analysis.
• Understanding of cost benefit analysis.
