Job Description

My client, a manufacturing company, is located in Murphy, NC.  They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their facility.


About the Opportunity

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and support the practical application of machining techniques and quality principles in a production environment. 

Duties

  • CNC Programming
  • Review customer prints
  • Set up equipment necessary for component production
  • Coordinate the design and fabrication of tooling and fixtures
  • Produce prototype components
  • Document set up procedure, tooling list and work instructions
  • Train set-up and operations personnel
  • Work with Quality Assurance to generate a process FMEA


Job Requirements
  • College degree preferred - can be offset by additional experience
  • Five years experience in a CNC machining environment
