Technical Sales Engineer, Cincinnati, OH
The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) will be working closely with the sales team and our key vendor partners in the development of information security opportunities within the CBTS customer base.
(1) The security engineer will focus heavily on technical discussions with customer to identify key design requirements, describe applicable vendor product features and functions, develop bill of materials and design documents, and assist in scoping services required for implementation and management of the proposed infrastructure.
(2) The security engineer will also be expected to be a part of the services activities when necessary including proof of concept or pilot activity to showcase vendor solutions.
(3) This position will be held accountable for helping achieve specific direct sales revenue goals as well as perform agreed upon major business objectives designed to further company wide business goals.
(4) Requires 5-7 years of IT experience with at least one year of security experience.
(5) Proven track record of helping sales account mgrs close deals with Fortune 1000 customers by overcoming "perceived" and real customer technical hurdles while at the same time articulating product technical value propositions and benefits.
(6) The individual chosen for this role will be expected to study vendor solutions and pass industry certification tests on a regular basis.
